Key Stage 2 Results
In 2017, 97% of pupils achieved the expected national standard (EXS) in reading, writing and mathematics. 30% of pupils achieved the higher standard (or GDS) across all subjects.
70% of pupils achieved the higher standard in reading, 37% in writing, 87% in GPS and 70% in mathematics, all significantly above national, inner London and local authority averages.
The school’s progress scores for reading, writing and mathematics were 6.9, 3.3 and 8.3 respectively. The average scaled scores for our Year 6 cohort were 112.4 for reading, 115.5 for GPS and 113.7 for mathematics. Based on both these measures, the school was the highest performing in the local authority.
Recently included within ‘London’s Top 10 Primary Schools’[1] Thomas Jones falls within the top 1% of schools nationally.
