Curriculum

The curriculum at Thomas Jones is a strength, we have high expectations for all children and our end of KS2 outcomes demonstrate the impact this has on pupils. Strong outcomes for other subjects such as art, PE, history and geography can be seen throughout the school in displays, in pupil books and through conversations and interactions with pupils themselves. CPD is exemplary, and is driven by our current priorities as identified by teachers themselves as well as in our Improvement Plan document. CPD is usually led by the school, most notably senior leaders and subject leaders and we further enhance with our membership to The National College. Our curriculum is planned and differentiated to ensure that all pupils are able to access the curriculum to the best of their abilities. We ensure that we comply with our duties under the Equality Act 2010 and the Special Education Needs and Disability Regulations 2014.
