Black History Month
The whole school Black History Month project organised by history leader Ms Kiley, inspired children to research the Empire Windrush as part of the 75 year anniversary.
Many children across the school made books, coin designs and power point presentations. Shola Fox in Reception made a poster all about her family’s history during this period; whilst Tesneem El Bahrein in Year 2 made a model of the Empire Windrush itself, including some excited passengers on deck. All of the children’s contributions will form part of a whole school display.
