Food Chains and Ecosystems
Last week, the Year 4 scholars excelled in an inventive and language-rich depiction of our fragile eco-system. The staging, costumes and face paints were exacting.
Every child had the opportunity to perform to the audience of children, parents and carers. Many children inhabited the role of creatures and plants within a food chain. The rest of the children played the role of scientists, using scientific vocabulary to educate the audience and describe the processes as they occurred.
The children have been diligent and hardworking and by all accounts, thoroughly enjoyed the experience, as did the audience, particularly the interactive elements.
