Today is the fifth anniversary of the Grenfell Tower fire. At 10.00, pupils and staff, wearing green as a symbol of unity, paused to reflect during a two-minute silence. The El Wahabi Orchard was also decorated in green, and a red rose was placed on each tree as a symbol of the school’s enduring affection and commitment to keeping alive the memory of the family. On behalf of everybody here at Thomas Jones, we would like to take this opportunity to send our heartfelt wishes to all of those affected by what happened on that dreadful night.
