Nothing Gold Can Stay

Assiduous, tenacious and unerringly loyal to everything Thomas Jones represents, Year 6 have shone. Last week's performances of Peter Pan were superlative. All children shone and wondered audiences from the youngest Nursery child to the Royal Borough's Head of Education. Bittersweet tears were shed.

In some settings, at this time of the year, glib and undeniably clichéd platitudes are afforded, ‘onward to bigger and better things’, being the most common.

Nobody know what the future holds, but we are emphatic in regard to one simple truth: In the here and now, each and every one of our Year 6 children is remarkable. As scholars and an evocation for what can be achieved, they have transcended as learners.
