Year 2 Science Trip
Year 2 recently visited the incredible Look Out Centre at Hyde Park for a day jam-packed with hands on activities – from meadow sweeping, to bird watching, log rolling and pond dipping.
The children were taught how to safely catch grasshoppers, centipedes, tadpoles and newts using specialist equipment, and had the chance to study them up close, learning from our very knowledgeable guide Alec. Our intrepid scholars returned back to school exhausted, but happy, after a day spent exploring the many beautiful natural habitats within the park.
