Rich Assortment of Dishes

Nursery teacher, Polly Holmes curated a marvellously inclusive international food event last Monday. With a rich assortment of delicious savoury and sweet dishes, our youngest pupils revelled in wonder, feasting upon such a spread.

Nursery children and their parents and carers brought to school dishes that represent their cultural heritage. Dishes from 10 different countries were shared including Eritrea, Italy, Morocco, Nigeria, Jamaica, Somalia, Afghanistan, China, Singapore and Grenada.

Further up the school, Year 5 have immersed themselves in a project that focuses on nutrition. They have baked organic blueberry and oat muffins and prepared healthy snacks using home-made hummus, vine tomatoes and Swedish crispbread.
