Police and Horse Visit
Year 1 were delighted to welcome the Mounted Police as part of their 'People Who Help Us' topic.
Two neighbourhood officers visited the classrooms to talk about their roles, how they joined the police, and the different parts of their uniform — which the children loved trying on!
The excitement continued as the children met the mounted officers and their impressive horses, enjoying the chance to stroke them and feed them carrots. It was a wonderful experience and a lovely way to bring their learning to life.
