Year 2 Bee-Keeping Workshop
Year 2 had a fantastic time taking part in a bee-keeping workshop this week. The children were fascinated as they explored the hive, learnt about the important roles of nectar and pollen, and helped provide food for the bee colony to see them through the winter.
The bees are now safely tucked up in their insulated hive, ready for the cooler weather. We’re keeping our fingers crossed that our busy little bees will produce some honey for us to enjoy next summer.
