A Narnian Farewell

Summer Fair

Last weekend, the school hosted a summer fair in partnership with the newly formed Friends of Thomas Jones Association.

Nursery Sports Day

Although our original Sports Day was rained off, it didn't deter our Nursery children and staff from enjoying a wonderful Sports Day afternoon in school.

Nature Garden Re-Vamp

The biodiversity improvements to the wildlife pond and surrounding Nature Garden are now complete, thanks the National Education Nature Park grant.

Waltham Place Farm

Year 3 and 5 have recently visited Waltham Place Farm, to learn about food production, pollinators and wildlife linked to science learning.

Food Growing Programme

Thanks to a joint enterprise between RBKC Ecology Service and Hammersmith Community Gardens Association, Thomas Jones have joined the fully funded School’s Food Growing Programme.

Brilliant Evocation

Year 4's class assembly was a brilliant evocation of quality. Arising from the study of the Romans, from start to finish this performance exuded joie de vivre.

Readathon

Thank you to all families that supported their child to take part in the recent Readathon fund raiser.

Eid Celebrations

On Friday, the school community celebrated Eid with a shared breakfast in class that brought everyone together in a gentle, joyful way.

Poetry Recital

This term Year Two have been writing alliterative poems about animals as part of their English curriculum. Poems include Zoe’s Zoo, Pippy’s Pet Shop and Jaden’s Jungle.

Book Sale

Just before half term the Friends of Thomas Jones Association held a book sale to launch the Readathon fundraising initiative which is happening now, and finishes on World Book Day.
