National Gallery Year 3 Visit
Year 3 visited the National Gallery to enhance their learning about JMW Turner and to view some of his most famous seascapes.
With the help of our expert guide, the children were encouraged to become art detectives and to look carefully at the paintings and use all their senses to imagine and describe the scenes. They noticed the different techniques Turner used to convey light, atmosphere and movement.
