Year 5 Scholars Visit The National Gallery

The pupils embraced a guided tour of the gallery focussing on specific paintings that demonstrated the use of narrative art. The focus of this visit was to align with the Year 5 current art unit, Painting: Narrative and Allegorical.  The children impressed staff with their discussions surrounding the artist, the subjects, and ultimately, the stories these fascinating artworks tell.
